When to Use Each Mode

encodeURIComponent
Use for individual query parameter values. Encodes ?, &, /, =, and #.
hello world → hello%20world
encodeURI
Use for complete URLs where you want to preserve URL structure characters like /, ?, &, =, and #.
https://ex.com/path?a=1 → unchanged
